The Southern California Pavement Preservation Conference
April 25-26, 2006
Diamond Bar, California
The Southern California Pavement Preservation Conference is designed to inform
you about how your agency's roadway system can benefit from a pavement
preservation program.
A pavement preservation program will enable your local agency to maintain its
roads in better condition for less money over a longer life-span, while
improving citizen satisfaction with the roads they use and pay for.
This conference will provide an opportunity for local agency pavement
maintenance decision makers to meet with federal and state agency experts and
industry representatives. Discover new innovations in pavement preservation and
discuss methods used by other agencies to expand and improve pavement
preservation programs in the region. Explore the types of preservation
treatments used as part of a pavement preservation program and how the
treatments can be integrated into comprehensive programs that involve pavement
management systems.
This conference is intended for:
-
local and state government public works personnel
-
street supervisors and road foremen
-
materials engineers and technicians
-
pavement management engineers
-
private consultants and others in industry
This conference will also include a vendor sponsored exhibit hall.
Presented by the Pavement Preservation Task Group, the Southern
California Pavement Preservation Conference is made possible through the
cooperative efforts of the National Association of County Engineers, the County
Engineers Association of California, the American Public Works Association, the
Maintenance Superintendents Association, the California Department of
Transportation, the Federal Highway Administration, and the California Local
Technical Assistance Program.
The general registration fee will be $75 for the two-day conference. The
exhibitor fee will be $400 and will include two conference registrations and one
10' x 10' exhibit space.
