Upcoming Classes for Traffic Engineers and Planners

Annual MUTCD Update Workshop (TE-06)

March 28, 2006
Southern California (Monrovia)
June 15, 2006
Emeryville
$95/public employees in California
$175/all others

The Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and the California Supplement guide the planning, installation, and maintenance of all traffic control devices on streets and highways in California. This important reference is now being updated annually.

This intensive, one-day workshop offers attendees practical skills on how to use and apply the MUTCD with the California Supplement to traffic engineering projects. The course places an emphasis on the MUTCD regulations that practitioners find the most troublesome -- including all-way stops, speed zoning, traffic signal operations, school area traffic controls, and the situations where California practice differs significantly from Federal practice. The course schedule allows ample time for discussion of the experiences of individual practitioners.

Traffic engineers, technicians who work in traffic engineering, and individuals interested in learning about practical applications of the MUTCD and California Supplement will benefit from this workshop. No prior knowledge of the MUTCD and California Supplement is necessary.

Register for this class early to avoid being shut out; space is limited!
