Tech Transfer Program Notes

Scholarships Available for NHI Intelligent Transportation Systems Training

Introduction to National Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Architecture

(FHWA-NHI-137015)

A limited number of scholarships—for employees of California's public sector transportation agencies—make this online training program free of charge. The Tech Transfer Program is pleased to offer these scholarships, made possible through funding from the Caltrans Division of Planning and Policy Analysis.

This online training program is easy and is available when you are—any time, any day—and could provide the knowledge you will need to start your project quickly if you are:

  • Involved in some aspect of ITS project planning, or working on an ITS project implementation (large or small)
  • Feeling a bit vague about what you need to know about "architecture," "systems engineering," or "standards and protocols"
  • Can't wait for the next scheduled ITS architecture class—and need information now
