| Abstract: |
This video covers some of the safety hazards in permanent and portable Portland cement concrete (PCC) and asphalt cement concrete (AC) bulk plants and crushing operations. It shows what to watch out for if you're a pedestrian on the ground, a crane operator, or a truck driver travelling between the plant and construction sites. Emphasis is on personal responsibility for safety and awareness of the hazards. With footage from operating work zones, good safety practices, actual safety hazards and unsafe working conditions and procedures are illustrated. |
| Notes: |
A clear and concise safety message for crews that work around concrete production facilities, particularly truck drivers and plant and storage facility workers. |
