Use it or lose it? Spend expiring Spring funds on Summer and Fall Training

June 4, 2018

As June 30th approaches, many of California’s public agencies are approaching the end of their fiscal year. Many of these agencies will be losing any unspent training funds, and their future budgets can be diminished by these unspent funds. To help agencies get the most out of their remaining budgets, Tech Transfer has released our Fall training schedule early.

Our Fall 2018 training schedule includes the return of some of our most requested courses, like our online California Traffic Engineering License Exam Review, Traffic Signal Operations: Isolated Intersection, Construction Inspection of Traffic Signals, and others. Under our new partnership with the City and County Pavement Improvement Center, we can now offer all of our Fall 2018 pavement courses to California public agency employees for less than $100.

Whether your agency has a use-it-or-lose-it training budget or not, planning ahead and registering early can help you avoid missing out on training due to red tape and delays in approvals. Register now, spots are filling up fast due to the early release of the Fall 2018 training courses.
