Adam Cohen is a senior researcher in innovative and emerging transportation technologies, has completed more than 35 research projects on advanced air mobility (AAM), urban air mobility (UAM), mobility on demand, mobility as a service, shared mobility, and automated vehicles. He has over 17 years of experience as a researcher with the Transportation Sustainability Research Center at the University of California, Berkeley, and 13 years of experience as a researcher with the Mineta Transportation Institute of San Jose State University. Adam currently serves as an expert contributor and board member for the Community Air Mobility Initiative (CAMI). Adam co-chairs TRB’s standing subcommittee on the Equity of Innovative Mobility Services and Technologies  AP020(3). He currently serves as Vice Chairman of SAE International’s Shared and Digital Mobility Committee and is the co-sponsor of SAE JA3163 which establishes standard terms and definitions for on-demand air mobility and AAM. Adam also co-teaches a UC Berkeley Extension course on Airport Systems Planning and Design.
