Doug has over 30 years of diverse legal experience in government and industry. Prior to Reliable Robotics, he served as General Counsel and Executive Vice President of Governance and Compliance for Aerion Corporation and its subsidiaries. Doug began his career as a trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice Aviation & Admiralty Section, and received numerous accolades for meritorious service, including the FAA Chief Counsel award. Doug worked for Curtiss-Wright Corporation, BAE Systems and Spirit AeroSystems. He  is a licensed commercial pilot and CFII with 2,200 hours of flight experience. He obtained a BBA in Aviation Administration from the Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences at the University of North Dakota, graduating magna cum laude in three years. He received his law degree from the Penn State Dickinson School of Law and was a member of the National Appellate Moot Court team and Woolsack Honor Society. Doug is a member of the Pennsylvania and Wisconsin Bars.
