In the classroom

Tech Transfer holds classes in classrooms across California. From the fundamentals of traffic engineering to the advanced methodologies for multimodal transportation planning and analysis, from surface roadways to aviation, from overarching policy-making to on-the-ground maintenance, we’ve got your transportation training needs covered.

Much of our training is delivered in partnership with the California Department of Transportation, Division of Local Assistance. Through the Cooperative Training Assistance Program, eligible public agencies may pay half-price for many of these courses.  See individual course descriptions for specific pricing.

Get online training at your convenience and train a room full of people for just one low price. Our online classes are priced per location, not per person. Class sessions are just a few hours each day, spread over a few days, either consecutively in the same week or spread out through consecutive weeks. If your agency doesn't have funding for training or travel, or can't afford the staff days out the office, our online training might be a good fit for you--and your colleagues. This reduced price is made possible by the California Department of Transportation, Division of Local Assistance, through the Cooperative Training Assistance Program.
