Our online classes are taught by the same expert instructors, have the same quality content, and the same number of instructional hours as our classroom classes. However, our online classes are more affordable and can be attended from any location. Online training is ideal for individuals and agencies with limited funds for training or travel and those that need to minimize staff time out of the office.

In 1978, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) approached the State of California to encourage the State to present statewide Work Zone Safety training. A partnership between Caltrans, the University of California, and the California Office of Traffic Safety was formed. This partnership reached out to the major traffic engineering agencies, State–County–City, to volunteer their experienced engineers for the formation of a statewide course on Work Zone Safety patterned after the FHWA training program. California Traffic Engineering License Exam Review; a new instructor and updated reference materials

The California Department of Consumer Affairs has updated the official list of reference materials for the California Traffic Engineering professional engineering (PE) examination to now include the following materials:

The May 2018 issue of the ITE Journal includes a great article, by Tech Transfer’s very own Nazir Lalani and his co-author Kristopher Gunterson, entitled Countermeasures Prove Effective in Reducing Bicycle Collisions. Within the article they explore the Vision Zero action plan created by the City of La Quinta, how it accomplished this plan, and the effectiveness of the plan as it relates to bicycle collisions.
